D. A. V. Public School Sector-13, Kurukshetra came into existence in a rented Kothi in, Urban Estate on 25 January 1987. The admission process for the first session began on 01 February 1987. The school was however, formally inaugurated on 09 August 1987.
In the first year the school had classes from Nursery to VI, students’ strength of 184 and 8 well qualified, experienced and dedicated teachers. Over the years, the school has risen to phenomenal heights. The campus is aesthetically landscaped providing ideal environment for studies.
The school takes pride in the fact that it has the most beautiful and the most modern building of the town, comparable to the best of Haryana.
